Curious about what moves people.
On thoughts, encounters and a sense of what is possible.
On thoughts, encounters and a sense of what is possible.
THE HUMAN / 01I am interested in how people think, what drives them and how they see the world. Every encounter can broaden our perspective. Sometimes a conversation is enough to ask a question differently or recognise a new connection.
I value those moments. They remind me that we never have to look at the world from just one perspective.
Language has a special place in my life. I enjoy a sentence that captures a thought precisely, and I like speaking in images. They help me describe connections and give others an idea of what I see.
Often I develop my thoughts in conversation. I ask questions, formulate an idea, think further and listen to how others respond. This gives rise to new perspectives, solutions and sometimes questions I had not considered before.
I have often been told to focus on one thing. I can concentrate closely on a subject when it needs my attention. Beyond that, what drives me is variety.
I am interested in different subjects, people and perspectives. I want to understand how things work and how they connect. Often this is where new ideas and solutions emerge.
That curiosity accompanies me in my work, in sport and in conversations with people whose experiences differ from mine.

One question often occupies me: What if it works?
People are often quick to discuss what speaks against an idea and why something might be difficult. That matters. But I am more interested in what becomes possible when we give a thought room and say it out loud.
Perhaps there is sometimes a fear in that: what would it mean if your own idea actually became reality?
My grandmother once told me, in her own words, to pay attention to my thoughts and the ideas I voiced. They might come true. She wanted to encourage me not to fear growth and success.
That thought stays with me. Saying an idea out loud can be the beginning of something that was previously unimaginable.
What interests me about people is not primarily their titles or positions. It is their stories, their decisions and the thinking behind them.
I have been fortunate to meet many remarkable people. Some have accompanied me for years; others changed my perspective in a single conversation. That is one reason I remain curious about the people I have yet to meet.
